Alnico Channel Magnets
Filter Results
Alnico Channel-Type Magnets are made in a variety of simple and complicated shapes and sizes. The alnico magnet material derives its magnetic properties and name from the elements aluminum, nickel, and cobalt. Alnico magnets have the widest range of temperature stability of any standard magnetic material (up to 1000°F) and possess excellent corrosion resistance. Cast alnico magnets may be manufactured in complex shapes, such as horseshoes, and are suitable for a wide range of applications. Alnico channel magnets work by channeling great holding strength onto one large surface, placing a strong alnico magnet into a plated steel channel in order to concentrate magnetic power and provide the magnet itself with protection and a sturdy fixture for them to be positioned in. Channel magnets are durable, easy to use, and powerful.
